THE KING AND QUEEN OF MUD.
(based on an idea that came from Australia...)

Time has come to offer the people an alternative to becoming wizard.
Not everyone likes to code.. and maybe they'd prefer to be King of
their MUD instead!

Let me explain. The best non-wizard fighters in the game can compete
for the honour of becoming King, by fighting in a tournament. A
person who wants to become King must have solved all quests. In the
tournament the players combat against each other, the first to wimp out
of the arena room looses. It might also be done in a gladiatorish style,
all fight against each other, and the last to stay in the room is king.
But then the combat system would have to be improved.
All those who have been in the tournament are considered heroes even
if they have lost. They are called 'Count' and 'Baron' depending on their
level.

What are the privileges of being King? Well he gets extra abilities
directly from player.c that even a wizard cannot achieve! He is the only
one to have the title King in his short() and tell, shout and says.
He can choose a female mudder to be his Queen (or the other way round
if it is her winning all the tournaments). He can elect 'Sir' every
player that he personally likes, und dis-elect a Sir that was elected by
a previous king. He gets his own castle built by a crew of architects, and
can even request things to be built the way he wants them, within reasonable
limits. He is also chief of the police and army (whatever that is), and can
collect taxes from the mudders to finance his constructions.

It is also possible to do a rebellion against the king, by attacking him in
group and killing him.
